If you have read my recent post about BB creams here, you will know I have a slight obsession with them. I have a long list of ones I want to try.
The Clarins BB Skin Perfecting Cream is a more higher end BB cream. This is a 3 in 1 product that evens out skin tone, revitalises the skin and protects it. It has an SPF 25, protects from UV rays and contains 100% natural mineral sun filters.
It has anti-oxidant benefits and contains organic Kiwi, Vitamin E, white tea extract and succory dock to help boost the skins energy and protect against free-radical damage and pollution.
It also has Katafray bark in it which is a natural hydration stimulate so will help to plump and moisturise the skin.
This is a lovely BB cream, it really does give a soft focus look to the skin. It is a light to medium coverage and evens out the skin tone and covers redness. It lasts well on the skin and doesn't make you oily throughout the day. There is just one downside to this BB cream and its the color.
Clarins BB Skin Perfecting Cream comes in 3 colours, I have the shade light which is the lighest shade. As you can see from the swatch above, you can't really describe this as light, well I don't think so.
Once applied it does adapt slightly as the coverage is sheer but I still look like I have had a major fake tan session once its on. This is the one and only thing that brings this down.
If you have a darker skin tone and are looking for a BB cream I would definitely recommend this. It really is a lovely base but Clarins please bring out some lighter colours so we can all enjoy it, as I know I am not the only one that has found this really dark.
You can pick this up at Escentuals for £22.40
