Cinnamon Orange Sangria and SRC

I know, I know the picture above looks more like a Margarita than a Sangria. You say potato and I say potaaaaato. I actually don't say it like that, but it sounded good at the time. What is going on you ask? Let me tell you, it is time again for Secret Recipe Club. So here we go.......
 Wendy is a native Texan and she started the blog The Weekend Gourmet in August of 2010
I am delighted that I got Wendy for this months Secret Recipe Club.
Like so many of us bloggers, she wanted to chronicle her recipes.
Of course it has morphed into what it is today.
When Wendy is not cooking, she is traveling or eating out with her husband Michael.
Just like my hubster, he is also her chief taste tester, what a lucky guy!
Wendy is also an animal lover.
Her orange cat Lucy, rules the roost over at Casa Garcia.
There were many recipes from her website that were meatless to choose from. 
I am not a vegetarian, but I am always looking for meatless options to enjoy during our Lenten season. 
She featured a product called Soyrizo, a meatless version of chorizo.
She has inspired me with more ideas for Lent next year.
Also, the hubster loves burgers, so I was considering making one of her many burger recipes she also features.
To make a long story short,  I decided to make her Cinnamon Orange Sangria.
