I guess all good things must happen to Meryl Streep (fingers crossed for an Oscar). It wouldn't be too far off the mark if I said, I wanna be Meryl Streep when I grow up. What a woman! While I love and adore her, as of this morning, we're at odds with one another. Well actually, she has no idea. I'm sure once she reads this blog post, she'll be fully up to speed. So, why am I at odds?.... Did you catch the BAFTA Awards? She put the moves on my crush .... Mr. Colin Firth. Uh huhhhh. Add to this, it was a total Cinderella moment. Uh huhhhh. I'm inconsolable. (And very very dramatic. Watch out Iron Lady. I can act too!) Anyway, since what's done is done, I thought I'd share a couple of keen observations.
1) Colin Firth is hot especially in a classic tuxedo. Mucho Caliente, for Spanish speaking readers. 2) Colin Firth gets etiquette. Note how he holds the shoe until she slips into it. Prince Charming alert. 3) Colin Firth is a good kisser. I don't have any personal experience (Maybe one day. Sorry hungry husband), but just look at that casual lip-on-lip action with Meryl. Bam. He makes it look so easy. Just like when he kissed her.4) Colin Firth is ageless. I mean the man is 50+ but doesn't look a day over 35. Still Mr. Darcy.
Am I starting to sound like a stalker? Don't answer that. Just enjoy this adorable moment from the BAFTA Awards. Meryl, you're one lucky gal. Now go get that Oscar!
