Merry Christmas everyone! :)
I really wanted to get some sort of post up today, just to say to all my lovely followers that I hope you are all having a fabulous day and that it has been filled with lots of love and laughter. I'll probably do a little post on what I was lucky enough to receive from friends and family this year at some point over the next few days, but for now today's festive nails will have to suffice!
We've just finished Christmas dinner in our house and are all currently stuffed, sitting around in front of the log fire watching Shrek for the bazillionth time!
This year's Christmas has been the best I can remember in a long time. It has always meant a mix of emotions in our house since my Dad passed away five years ago - this year though, for a few different reasons it feels as though he might be looking down on us all keeping us safe and making sure we get that bit of luck that we deserve.
Amongst other things, I managed to bag myself a new job this week which I start in January - something exciting that I have to look forward to :) I've also been spending lots of time with my amazing bunch of friends - I held a bit of a Christmas soiree at my place this weekend - mulled cider, mince pies, the works and a fun time was had by all.
I don't want to jinx it, but I have a feeling 2013 might be a good year :)
