But one has to understand that all the carbs are not bad for the health. One has to know what each and every carbohydrate stands for. This nutrient is found in many food items and beverages and is mostly derived out of plant based food. Also many processed foods have carbohydrates in the form of sugar or even starch.

It is said that to accelerate the metabolism, one has to increase the amount of fiber intake in terms of salads as a part of the meal.

Whenever we talk of carbohydrates, the first thing that hits someone is the thought of weight gain. But all this is actually a myth as one has to actually understand which carbohydrate is good and bad for the body. When we talk about losing weight, one should eat complex carbohydrates in their meals as they have more advantages over the simple carbohydrates. These nutrients are difficult to digest and take a longer time than the normal carbs to digest. They entering the bloodstream is slow. With this the level of the blood sugar remains stable. As fiber is also type of complex carbohydrate, it has many health benefits that people cannot deny. Eating one full portion of salad with the meals is actually the best way to accelerate the metabolism and helps in weight loss. It also helps in curbing the hunger pangs and reducing your appetite. The more of fiber in your food, it adds a little bulk to your meal, making you feel full and satisfied for a longer duration.

But anything in excess is harmful for the body, one has to understand that the body needs everything. One should keep a tab on what they eat and control the portions of carbs in the diet. Only sugars contribute a good amount of fat to your body. Be careful in what you choose to eat so that you don’t regret in future.

Crbohydrate is the main source of fuel to the body. It keeps the body running without any health issues. It is also said that they protect the body against many diseases by making the immune system strong. Fighting diseases is one of the pre-requisites due to which we consume all the necessary nutrients in proper proportions to stay fit and hearty.
