chocolate pudding using custard powder - easy chocolate pudding using dark chocolate compound and custard powder.Mostly we make chocolate pudding using cocoa powder and corn flour and this one is by using dark chocolate and melt in double boiler and then add it to the milk and custard powder.

I already tried and shared the recipe for chocolate pudding using cocoa powder and corn flour.The texture and taste little bit varied and this sets so quickly even in room temperature.Had some leftover chocolate compound in refrigerator and i want to finish it and also some chilled desserts for this summer.Summer is in full swing in its beginning itself,dont know how we will manage the rest of the season.

you may wonder the dessert recipes in a row because i felt so relaxed and good with my friends after a long time and we all had a good chit chat for an hour.Sure college days were treasure in our memories and i badly missing those moments.we all discussed our studies,our Professors,their teachings,some love stories here and there,last but not the least,our moments and our naughtiness.I had no words and was literally thinking that we were in college on that day.Even to write here ,i had no words to express my feelings and we all met two years back in my marriage and we are planning to meet soon.lets move on to recipe.,

The above cherries are just for garnishing and i did not used in the recipe and this was the leftover after making the black forest trifle which i made months back and reserved it for posting it in valentine's day,it was my previous post.i made chocolate cups using the silicon cupcake mould and fill it with custard and the recipe is in draft.Planned to post the recipe soon here.It was so much fun to make that and was so curious in removing the cup from the mould,like a kid ,was so excited.Actually i made it for this valentine's day but postponed it to post sometime later and also had slow internet.I always enjoy summer,not only for holidays but also some festivals in our native.

for combining the chocolate in the milk,melt the chocolate in the double boiler and then add it to the milk and proceed it.Add the melted chocolate after adding custard powder milk mixture to it and then using a whisk mix it evenly.Once it came to pouring consistency,switch off the flame and then refrigerate it and cover it with the wrap to avoid the formation of layer on top of it.serve it with whipping cream or with chocolate syrup on top of it.

eggless pudding with melted chocolate,milk and custard powder

Ingredients

• custard powder - 2 tablespoons
• milk - 250 ml
• chocolate -1/2 cup
• sugar - 1 to 2 teaspoon
• cherries or chocolate for garnishing

Instructions

1. Dissolve custard powder in 100 ml of milk and keep it ready.
   
2. boil the milk in a sauce pan and once it came to boil,add the custard powder milk mixture to it and keep on stirring in low flame.
3. add sugar to it and keep on stirring.
4. Meanwhile,melt the chocolate in double boiler and make sure the chocolate melted well.
5. Add it to the milk and keep on stirring using the whisk.
6. Once it came to pouring consistency and you may able to see,it begins to thicken.
7. Switch off the flame and transfer it to a bowl and cover it with a wrap.
8. Refrigerate it for 2 hours.
9. Serve it with whipping cream.
