This weekend we have been desperately trying to free up space on the computer which has meant deleting a lot of photos! Whilst going through them all it has been great looking at all of the ones we have on there and it was difficult choosing just one for this weeks' What's the Story linky over at PodCast Dove.
The photo I have chosen for this week is this...
It is of me seemingly involved in some kind of child labour washing up at my late Nanny and Grandad's house. I have fond memories of visiting them as a child and an adult.
We used to go round every Boxing Day for lunch and I remember my Grandad made THE BEST roast potatoes!
They only lived around the corner from us so we would often pop round for a cup of tea and to raid their games cupboard and LEGO stash.
I often feel very sad that my Grandparents passed away before the Little A's were born. I am sure they would have loved to have met them and I would have loved the Little A's to have some memories of their house too.
My Grandad could be a bit scary at times and my Nanny was one for gossiping but I loved them dearly and when I look back at old photographs or drive past their old house I miss them terribly.
