“When Chef Amit Dash was roped in from Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai, in last July, the objective was to improve the Indian section. Being a business hotel, the continental section has always been good. “In India, people need their curries and naan(s) and being at North Indian market one cannot shy away from it,” says Umesh Dalal, F&B Manager and Courtyard by Marriott, Gurgaon.
Chef Amit Dash has spent the formative years of his career in ITC Hotels that are known to establish Indian cuisine on the world map through their iconic restaurants. From his rich experience, he has introduced some very interesting delicacies on the revamped menu at MoMo Cafe. 
The new menu is available for in room service as well as the dine-in café.The first thing that caught my attention was the Murgh Banno Kebab; succulent kebab cooked with a layer of cheese & egg white and was a mindboggling creation of Chef Amit. We loved it and couldn’t resist for second helping. 
For vegetarians, Dhingri Ka Shikhampore is something one should not miss. A deep fried Hyderabadi Kebab which is typically prepared with minced mutton and Button Mushroom and carries the authentic taste and flavor. Another preparation which left its mark was Tale ka Gosht. The succulent meat pieces with Kasuri Methi and Cashew flavor had left us wanting for more. 
The Salad section at MoMo Café features a very interesting Indian Tikka Salad. The best thing about it - It isn’t heavy like other Indian salads. Chef Amit has put equal focus on every section of the menu and the guests have ample to choose from.

After we finished our food, Umesh took us around the facilities at Marriott. We simply loved the banquet, which is still being done. It is beautifully designed and carries the theme of ‘Wave’. It offers guests both indoor & outdoor sections. The outdoor section is further bifurcated into 2 categories and also a pool.
As a business hotel, Courtyard by Marriott globally is known for the comfort and choices it offers to its guests.
In Gurgaon, the property is right at the center of the business district and with the revamped menu it will give a great option for non-resident guests to indulge in lip-smacking food.
