CHARITY SHOP MINI HAUL

Floral Midi Skirt £1.99

Since moving to Bournemouth I haven't really ventured into many charity shop, and on the occasions that I have they haven't been filled with the same charm as my regular ones in Southampton. I'm not sure if that's just me being home sick, or if they really different calibers. However, I noticed a few weeks ago on my local high street that there was a new charity shop being built. I didn't really take much notice, until I realised it was a Salvation Army shop. In the past, The Salvation Army charity shops have always been my favorite as they don't seem afraid to put lots of stock out with low prices. I should be on a spending ban this month as I ended up owing myself money last month (don't tell me I'm the only one who does this?). However, I couldn't resist and thought I should pop in and see if the shop could improve my view on Bournemouth's charity shops. I picked up an armful of items that caught my eye but soon realised that they didn't have a changing room. I had to narrow the selection down to items that I was sure would be just as good off the hanger. I left having only bought three items, and spent £7.97. All in all I would say it was a success for both my wardrobe and on the purse strings.

Cable Knit Jumper £3.99

This jumper was the first thing that caught my eye in the shop. I have always steered clear of red as I've had red hair a lot in the past and it ends up being a little bit overwhelming. But as I've gone back to boring brown I think it should be better. I'm a sucker for a jumper like this as they are really heavy and make you feel like your constantly having a cuddle. I've been wearing jumpers over dresses recently and I really like how it instantly turns the outfit a lot more casual.

Polka Dot Top £1.99
This top reminds me of a Topshop cupped bralet dress I used to have. I wore it to death, and always remember it looking great with a tan. I love the soft candy pink shade and think this top will look great paired with a denim skirt or shorts. The material is really light and soft so it will be great for when it starts to warm up and I want something quick to throw on for the beach.

Have you found any hidden gems lately? Which are your favorite charity shops?
