Carrot Capsicum Chutney

Today's post is a very simple to make but yummy tasting chutney to go with almost any tiffin, I served this along with rava idly and it was a total hit.This chutney is something bursting with the flavors of very few ingredients that goes in the making and unbelievably tasty for such a simple procedure. I was not having tomatoes or onions in hand so I had come with some chutney to go with idly and I made this instantly. Here is the reipe,do try this at least once to know what I mean :)
Carrot capsicum chutney
Ingredients:
1 large carrot chopped coarsley
1 large capsicum chopped coarsley
1 small piece of ginger
2 green chillies
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
2 teaspoons sesame oil
Salt
Method:
1.Heat one spoon oil in a kadai,add green chillies and ginger and saute well. Next add the carrot,capsicum,salt and saute for ten minutes. Let it cool for sometime
2.Grind it smoothly and temper with mustard and cumin seeds. Serve with idlys.
Notes:
1.Sesame oil gives a distinct and earthy flavor to this chutney
2.Do not use tomatoes here as they would take away sweetish taste of carrot
