Carolina Herrera’s Resort 2014 collection is all about prints.
A signature of the House, prints here in a range of motifs, create a spirit of lightness and ease with a bit of fun and whimsy. The print inspiration starts with a refined floral design and is abstracted in bold shapes and patterns paired with a geometric striped print in the colors of the season; poppy red, carnation pink, violet, honeysuckle, and ultramarine.
The silhouettes are soft and fluid, embodying a relaxed yet refined attitude – highlighted by palazzo pants in silk twill, crepe de chine and for evening, long handkerchief hem skirts in tissue organza. Carolina Herrera designed this strong visual collection to transcend season and occasion, relevant for a full lifestyle of travel and new experiences.
