I don’t think there is a better way to start my first #SundaySupper at the new site, than with a virtual cocktail party. Who doesn’t love a good party? I certainly do, so if you are looking for some wonderful, unique concoctions in the way of libations and delectable bites, then boy is this the place for you.
This week on #SundaySupper, its all about the drinks and Appetizers. After all it is the season for it. This week’s event is hosted by Conni from The Foodie Army Wife. Boy do we have a line up this week. My contribution is this Caramelized Onion and Goat Cheese Tart. It couldn’t be any easier. Print Recipe
Caramelized Onion and Goat Cheese Tarts
Ingredients:
4 ounces Maple and Onion Jam (see previous post)
13 ounces puffed pastry
5 ounces goat cheese crumbled
2 tablespoons fresh thyme
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 F
Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Score 1/4 inch boarder around edge of puff pastry. Spread onion jam evenly on top of puff pastry. Bake in the oven 10-15 minutes or until pastry is puffed and golden brown. Remove from the oven and add goat cheese and thyme. Cut into individual servings.
Serve hot.
