Canvas Boutique Hotel is located only 10 minutes away by tricycle from the city center, making it a great base for exploring the city and its attractions. The airport, to which the hotel provides free transfers, is likewise a short drive away.

With the tagline “Inspiring Adventures,” Canvas Boutique Hotel sets itself apart from the many hotels and lodging options in Puerto Princesa by going design-centric. They write:

ROOMS
Our room was nothing short of wonderful. The design is young, whimsical, and full of character, like how a room from a true boutique hotel should be. And the room’s colorful mural, inspired by mountains, the sea, and the sky, is cute and imaginative.
The hotel’s rooms are furnished elegantly, starting with the comfortable beds fitted into each room. All rooms are likewise equipped with the conveniences needed by today’s travelers, like an LED TV, a Loudbasstard media dock, and lots of power points. En suite bathrooms, meanwhile, have separate sections for a toilet, a shower, and a lavatory.
FACILITIES
The room boasts of a small but beautifully-landscaped swimming pool on its quiet yard. It also has an iMac station for the use of its guests.
FOOD AND DRINK
Painted Table, the hotel’s sole restaurant, serves a bountiful array of Filipino and Western dishes for breakfast. We loved their pork adobo, as well as their beef tapa.
SERVICE
Thoughtful service was among the aspects that I loved about the hotel. Efficient and friendly staff were at hand to provide my needs from the room to airport transfers.
VALUE FOR MONEY
Admittedly, rooms at Canvas Boutique Hotel cost more than the average room in Puerto Princesa, but the experience justifies the cost. It’s clearly one of the city’s bests.
