Cancer Rising – March 2013
During March, the Sun is moving through your 9th house of higher learning, beliefs and travel, so up until the 20th March you will be in a mood to take in as much information as you can. For you, this month is great for study, learning new skills and meeting new people whose culture or beliefs differ to your own – you will glean a great deal from them. In truth, anything that stirs your intellect is good for you now. It is possible that you may have to deal with legal issues in some way and if you are on you travels, you will find your trip hugely rewarding and enjoyable. Venus and Mars travel with the Sun in close contact in this house up until 12th March introducing the wonders and beauty of life to you and giving you the enthusiasm to try new things and to experiment. New philosophies, languages, art or music that may be unlike your normal tastes could spark an interest within you. One thing to beware of is getting into any legal arguments now. Mars in the 9th house is not conducive for pleasant relationships with those in authority, event though we have Venus as a stabilising force. Mars from the 12th and the Sun and Venus from the 20th onwards travel in Aries in your 10th house so matters of work and making the best of your career will be more and more in your mind as the month progresses. On the 22nd Mars and Uranus make a conjunction in your 10th house. At work you may be asked to do unusual tasks or something you may disagree with, and it is possible that you could react against those in charge as your mood with them reaches boiling point. Technology or computers at work may let you down too, so try to keep yourself under control and make the best of what you have to do. Relations with older men or with your father could also be under strain.
Mercury and Saturn on the 7th March make two sextiles at the same time to Pluto sitting in your 7th house of personal relationships. These relationships (professional and personal) and your individual freedom to do as you wish may have been put under pressure recently, however some correspondence or advice now could help you make the changes you need to. Maybe it is not best to act on these matters initially, however the chance may come towards the end of the month on 29th March as Mercury moving direct makes another sextile to Pluto.
On 27th March, we have an interesting full Moon in Libra arriving in your 4th house of the home, domestic matters, women and your mother. This full Moon is exactly opposite to Uranus, Venus and Mars as well as the Sun; it is widely square to Pluto and trine to Jupiter. Matters in your home life or to do with the women you have close ties with may surprise you now. There could be unexpected matters at work that could affect matters at home and with your family. Remain flexible and ready to react to the changing situations that you find yourself in.
