Camden Rotisserie offers nearly every imaginable chicken dish. From pulled chicken wraps for €5.95 to chicken fillet burgers from €6.95 everything sounds good. They also serve quarter and half roast chickens at €4.50 and €8.00, this was what M was dreaming of getting! In the end he went for a quarter of a chicken to satisfy his cravings and also decided to try some butterflied chicken breast as well.Camden Rotisserie on Camden Street, the place to go for all your chicken craving needs!
The quarter chicken, which turned out to be a leg and thigh piece, was delicious, and really tender he barely had to work to take the meat off the bone. The skin was really well seasoned and was lovely and crispy. I know he wished he'd ordered a half rather than a quarter! The butterfly chicken was really nice too though, it was seasoned with spices and grilled. Very satisfying.

If you're like me and don't like chicken, I know there are a few of us out there, then there are only a few options for you to choose from. There's a veggie burger at €6.95 and a goats cheese salad at €8.95. I opted for the steak sandwich for €8.95. It came served on ciabatta bread with some fried onions and chips. The meat was really generous and cooked medium rare, it was well seasoned and tasty. Definitely worth ordering if you're not a chicken lover!

It's hard not to compare the prices in Camden Rotisserie with the ones we paid in Portugal for exactly the same thing, it's about double the price. Of course it would be fairer to compare it with other Irish restaurants and when you do this it is good value for money. So for a tasty chicken treat when you don't have the time or money to take a trip to Portugal definitely check out Camden Rotisserie, I have it on good authority that after a few drinks it's particularly scrumptious!
