Buckeyes for #ChristmasWeek

For today, I would like to give you a recipe for Buckeyes. They are also known at Peanut Butter Balls. We make these each year at the church for our Fall Bazaar, not to mention we also make them for family and friends.

Buckeyes (Peanut Butter Balls)

Ingredients:

1 cup peanut butter
2 sticks butter
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
5 cups confectioners sugar
Dark dipping chocolate

Directions:

In a mixing bowl combine peanut butter, butter vanilla and confectioners sugar. Roll into 1 inch balls Place on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper.
Heat up the dipping chocolate. Use a double boiler or microwave. Cook chocolate until melted and smooth about 5 minutes.
Using a toothpick or wooden skewer, dip the balls in the chocolate. Allow to cool completely before packaging.
