Hey Friends, It is official HB 2595, the bill further criminalizing dissent on state forest land is dead and gone, for this year at least. HB 2596 is moving along, but at least that is one down. Congratulations Cascadia Forestdefenders Cascadia EarthFirst Portland Rising Tide and others, this is great news. Now, lets save some Trees!!!

We are still fighting HB2596, which will make it easier for logging companies to sue non-violent protestors, but we’re celebrating none the less. Up with trees! Down with prisons! Thanks to all who helped us in this fight
