When I first heard about the Bravura Dermaflannel, I was a bit unsure what to think. I have been using a salicylic acid peel for over a month and found out it had been discontinued and was offered to try the Dermaflannel instead.
It looks like a cross between a flannel and a muslin cloth and can be used on the face or body. It combines microfibres with a unique new weaving process to give your skin a deeper exfoliation which is chemical free.
It helps to reduce acne, scars, fine lines, age, liver spots and even blackheads. It has been proven to exfoliate dead skin cells and remove cosmetics, oil and dirt and it also rivals costly microdermabrasion salon treatments in effectiveness
Like I said I couldn't quite get my head round how this could work but I followed the instructions carefully and have been using the Dermaflannel once a week for just over a month.
You can use this with a gentle cleanser but they recommend you just dampen it with warm water and use it on freshly cleansed skin.
You use upwards strokes and don't use to much pressure, it doesn't actually feel like its doing much but it really is.
Even after the first use I noticed a difference. My skin has never felt so soft, I didn't actually think it was possible. When I woke up the next morning my skin looked fresh and glowing and I swear the redness of my spots and pigmentation had gone down.
After a months use my acne scarring has dramatically reduced, even a friend at work commented on it the other day.
My breakouts are a lot less. I still have a few spots but not the army that used to be there. I even feel comfortable just wearing concealer now which is unheard of from me.
I stupidly didn't take a before and after picture which I really wish I did now just so I could compare the change.
I have even used this on my body and wow did it make my skin soft. No more rough knees or elbows and the little bumps I had on the top of my arms have completely disappeared.
As you can probably tell I adore the Dermaflannel and I will always have it in my skincare routine from now on.
If you are worried about using an chemical exfoliant give this a try. I actually found it gave better results than the Salicylic Peel I was using.
This is £11.99 from the Bravura Website which I think is a complete bargain. It is a reusable flannel which will last a long time if you look after it correctly.
With products like this always make sure you follow the instructions to the letter.
