Boys Of Mass Destruction.

By Chelsey5 @chelseysullivan

Boys = Destruction

Any mother of boys can relate to that I am sure.

Boys have a way with things and their way is almost never gentle.

The other day my daughter was given a new bed.

I allowed her this new princess bed because her current bed had broken slats.

I put the bed outside not knowing what I wanted to do with it quite yet.

My boys had other plans.

I heard banging, yelling and wood breaking.

This is what I saw when I looked out my window.

My sons had decided they needed the wood to build a fort.

So the destruction was underway.

I did not want to interrupt their solid efforts. They were working together to get a job done.

They were having to use their brains too!

Finding different ways to create leverage was a challenge.

Almost there!

Success!

Jude tried to help with the harder parts but he found more contentment just whacking the bed with a slat.

He said he was getting the nails soft for Jacob and Jonah.

This was a hard piece.

It took some time but they finally got it completely apart.

This may look like he is crying or in pain but actually he is giving a manly yell of accomplishment.

This makes me laugh out loud because it resembles a picture of hunters posing with their kill.

I am sure they felt the same type of pride though.

It was so fun to watch my sons accomplish something together.

Boys will be boys……just why I love em’
