Borrowed Inspiration for Your Week: Things to Do with Paint Sample

By Crossstitchyourheart @TMNienaber

When I was little I loved collecting paint samples.  It was the single most wonderful thing that could happen on trips to the hardware store.  Even now I still like to collect paint samples to have on hand just in case I ever decide to make a paint purchase.

But apparently, there’s something else you can do with those paint samples you don’t know what to do with.

Home made confetti!

My mom is a confetti fiend.  It’s what she’s known for.  Anytime anyone gets a card from here they open it over the trash can.  Sadly, finding fun shaped confetti has become a harder and harder task recently and this simple (and cheap) way to make your own looks like so much fun.  You can buy stampers like these in sets for not too much, making this a fun go to craft.  It would also be fun to do with little kids, a quick and easy crafty way to have kids contribute to your DIY holiday.

And here are some more paint chip crafts to get you inspired
