Borrowed Inspiration for Your Week: Spring Break Edition

By Crossstitchyourheart @TMNienaber

Well fellow bloggers it’s finally here, that week I’ve been counting down to…Spring Break!  And while some of you may be spending your break vacationing and going crazy I plan on keeping things as laid back as possible.  Relaxing, getting caught up and planning ahead, and only working one job!  Oh the joys of the adult world.  I also plan to spend more time stitching and reading (I’m 7 books behind on my Goodreads pledge).  Hopefully I’ll be able to de-stress from all the stresses of last week. And in case you were wondering the interview went well (I think) and I’ll hear back about whether or not I made it to the second round of interviews in two weeks (give or take a few days), so I just need some good luck and prayers for a few more days.  I’m trying not to get too excited about this job, but it is at a school I love with fantastic kids and a fabulous English department.  Basically everything I’m looking for…

But moving past that and on to the thing you’re really looking forward to, I thought this week’s inspiration should fit the theme of the week: relaxation and anti-stress.

If you’re interested in this pattern you can get it here from PatternBird’s etsy store for $4

I have to say I think the price on this one is pretty fair and I love the yoga girl.  PatternBird has all kinds of patterns I adore (you’ll be seeing more of them in future posts I can assure you) and this is just one of them.  I highly recommend you follow the link and go check out the rest of her patterns.

And here’s some bonus inspiration for your week.  In case you’re thinking about doing some outside work on this fine spring week, here’s a little something to inspire your outdoor plans or your spring break destinations.  Looks pretty perfect doesn’t it?

You’ll be happy to know progress on the HAED has finally started up again.  I still have about ten stitches in black I wasn’t able to remove without cutting up my piece, but that’ll just give it character.  Keep an eye out for pictures on Wednesday.  Although progress is still going slowing I’m sure in the next couple of weeks it’ll really pick up.

Things on the book front are moving slowly but picking up and I hope to have “The Paris Wife” finished by the end of the day today if I can get really motivated.  Not sure what my next book will be…maybe I should have a poll?  I’m trying to choose between these choices: “Paris I Love You But You’re Bringing Me Down”  ”Beautiful Creatures Book 1″, “Being Friends with Boys”, or “The End of Your Life Book Club”.

Any suggestions on what to start first?

Hope you all have a good week and enjoy the weather (at least it feels more like spring here today).  Remember you can keep in touch all the time on the twitter @Xstitchurheart or friend me on Goodreads.  I promise I’ll make more of an effort to keep them updated.
