Borrowed Inspiration for Your Week: LED Magic

Today’s borrowed inspiration craft comes from something I think is super cool.  Mini LED lights.  there’s so much you can do with the and they are awesome.

While not exactly a holiday craft this one could easily be changed to make it more holiday season appropriate.  All you need are cupcake papers, scissors, and an LED light string.  (they don’t necessarily have to be LED, but they’ll last longer).  I found the craft on Pinterest and was unable to find the origin source, so if you made the tutorial, let me know!

In this tutorial it looks like they’re using already shaped flowers, but if you use those little cupcake things you can layer, cut, and shape to fit your needs (think red and white layers for Christmas or orange and yellow and brown for Thanksgiving).  Take your cupcake, slice your X in the bottom, and slip your light in. Then continue down the line for the rest of the string.  Easy and fabulous!
