Good morning bloggers! Any exciting plans for the rest of your week? With that “back to school” time getting closer and closer people around here are enjoying the last few weeks of summer. Which means hours at work are being cut because people aren’t spending money on shopping right now. Translates into less money but more time off which is a nice break, although once August hits everything is going to get busy all at once with hours doubling again and grad school starting. I should probably be enjoying this break while I can, but instead I’m just worrying about what the next month will bring.
Do you ever do that? Send so much time worrying about the future that you can’t enjoy what you have in the moment? I have that problem…like…all the time. It’s terrible. I guess I just have to keep reminding myself the future will get here soon enough.
Today’s borrowed inspiration craft (no relation to the above topic whatsoever) is milk jug butterflies. I love, love, love butterflies and have seen all those room designs with the metal/tin butterflies on the wall. Well, this tutorial shows you how to make look alike butterflies out of recycled milk jugs that you can use for the same effect and customize however you’d like
What kind of butterflies will you make? Think of all the extras you could add here too, beads, sparkle, puff paints, even some needle work embellishments. All kinds of possibilities.
Hope you all have a good week, exciting or not. When I’m not at work or fretting over the future I’ll be working on the cross stitch and finishing up “The Never List” and “The Ocean at the End of the Lane”. Working my way back up to my finished books this year goal. I am really looking forward to my grad school classes starting up in August, can’t wait to see all the books I get to read
I missed having English classes.
