Book Review – Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star – Light up Sound Book

By Mummyoftwo @RaspberryGiggle

We were recently sent some lovely new books from Parragon to review.  The first review I have is for the lovely baby book Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.  Not only does the book have music, it also lights up which made it very appealing to Little Miss A!

The book recites the popular nursery rhyme, Twinkle, Twinkle and also has 4 buttons to press.  The first button plays the tune of the rhyme with the other buttons making different sounds.  When the buttons are pressed they also light up in a lovely flashing rhythm along with the sounds.  I think this is a really unique feature and not something I have seen in other books of this nature.

I usually find these kind of books have very annoying, high pitched, noises and tunes, however, I was pleasantly surprised that the music and noises are relatively pleasant and not annoying at all!

The illustrations in the book are lovely, I particularly liked the cute owl pictures.

Little Miss A is really taken with this book and loves to press all of the buttons and look at the pictures.

I think this book would be suitable for any baby and young child that has an interest in books and nursery rhymes and I will be looking out for the other book in this series to add to Little Miss A’s collection.
