Blemish Fighting Oils

Blemish Fighting OilsYes, that's right Blemish fighting oils. If you would hae told me a year or two ago that I would be slapping oil on my face most evenings I would of thought you were mad but I really can't get enough of them.
I have such annoying skin, it is oily but dehydrated and I suffer with blemishes. I find that oils help to keep things in check and are also great for healing blemishes much more effectively and gently than most spot fighting products.
Starting with one of my favourites is the Trilogy Rosehip Oil. (£16.50 Boots)  This is a non greasy oil that is full of anti-oxidants and essential fatty acids. It is great for reducing scars and giving your skin an all over glow.
Sticking with Rosehip I also love the Pai Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil.(£20 Pai) This is the highest concentrated rosehip oil on te market to date and has high levels of Trans Retinoic Acid which delivers Pro Vitamin A to the skin. Like the Trilogy oil this helps to fade scars and evens out the skin tone.
The Balance Me Radiance Face Oil* (£15 for 10ml Balance Me) comes in a cute little roller ball version so is great for travel. I like to use this to really target those big blemishes. I just roll it on every evening and the blemishes are reduced by the morning. This contains a mix of oils like sweet almond oil, grapeseed oil, jojoba oil, rosehip oil and moringa seed oil to name a few.
If you do have very oily skin and are worried about using an oil I would suggest trying the Jurlique Skin Balancing Face Oil* (£35 Jurlique) This is a lightweight oil that helps to balance the skin but still keep it hydrated. It has Evening Primrose, Macadamia Seed, RoseHip, Safflower, Shea Butter, Avocado and Jojoba Oil in it which are all great for nourishing and healing the skin.
Lastly the Niki's Organic Lavender and Chamomile Balm (£9.99 Niki's Balms) is obviously not really an oil but does contain lots of great ones. I love this as it is so soothing and calming and I always reach for it when my skin is really playing up. Other than Lavender and Chamomile it also has Organic Sunflower Oil, Organic Calendula Oil and Organic Hypericum Oil in it.
I think all 5 of these products are great for helping sooth my skin, fight blemishes and reduce scars. Rosehip oil seems to be the one ingredient that helps the most so an oil with that in is going to do wonders to the skin.
Have you tried any of these?
