The Blackhawks beat the Flames 2-0.

The Chicago Blackhawks (25-4-3) shutout the Calgary Flames (12-15-4), 2-0, to avoid a three game skid.

Calgary has dropped to 0-12-1 in their last twelve games at the United Center and 0-9-1 in their last ten road games this season.  That is more than five years worth of playing at the United Center.

Defense helped propel the Blackhawks to their shutout and Ray Emery’s first shutout in more than three years.  Emery got his 12th win of the season along with his 12th career shutout.

Nick Leddy started the scoring 7:09 into the first with a wrist shot through the five hole.  Assisted by Kane and Roszival.

Brent Seabrook scored the final goal of the game 17:48 into the second, shooting a wrist shot that fluttered just past the glove and into the net.  Assisted by Kane and Keith.

Kane is on a seven-game point streak that includes five goals and nine assists.

The Blackhawks face the Anaheim Ducks Friday at the United Center.  Look for the preview to the game.

GO BLACKHAWKS!!!
