Bite-Sized Chocolate Fondant with Blood Orange Recipe

Ingredients (for 8 people)

4 Maltese oranges
cocoa powder, unsweetened (optional)
50g flour
100g of brown sugar
100g of butter
4 eggs
200g dark chocolate, full-bodied

Preparation

Step 1 :

Melt the chocolate with the butter in the microwave.
Add the brown sugar and let cool. Stir in the eggs one at a time, stirring with a wooden spoon, then the flour and the cocoa flavor is more full-bodied.
Cut oranges in half, remove the flesh using spoon to grapefruit, it’s easier) and add to the preparation.
Divide in half oranges that have been emptied of their flesh, and cook at 200°C for 15 minutes.

Tips

Serve immediately with a salad of oranges or sorbet with citrus fruit and a few leaves of fresh mint.
