First up is from Model Co. It is a Party Proof Lipstick in the shade "Peony." It looks like a full size, but I can't be certain on that. It's a very pretty matte red with a touch of pink. The bullet has seen better days thanks to the recent heat wave! It didn't fare too well in the hot mailbox, but it did survive in one piece at least. :) A nice sample that I'm perfectly happy with! Yea!!! :)
Next is a crappy foil packet on a card. It's the Divine Legs from Caudalie. This is a tinted lotion to add firmness, moisture and a tint of color to legs. It's a really small foil packet, especially for a body lotion. I do not believe Caudalie is a cruelty-free brand, but I'm not 100% certain on that. Not too good on this one, BirchBox! Too tiny and in a foil packet! Grrrr! Then again, I'm not likely to use it anyway because I like my legs to be pale and pasty! :)
The "Suits" Pick is from Dr. Jart and it is the Ceramidin Cream. This is a BirchBox exclusive and is supposed to repair skin damage and hydrate for up to 26 hours! I'm not sure if Dr. Jart is cruelty-free either. This is a tiny tube, but if it's deeply hydrating, it still might last a while...and at least it's not in a foil packet! :)
The next item I really love, but am still a bit ticked off about! It is another nail polish from Color Club's Wanderlust Collection. Remember that...from last month! I give them credit for sending a different color - this is in the shade "London Calling," which is a neon mint green. I really wanted to try this color and I loved last month's polish. So much so, that I had ordered the Wanderlust Set of polishes from BirchBox and it showed up the same day! So now I have two bottles of the two colors I most liked from the collection. They are tiny little bottles, but I probably still won't use up both of them. I guess I shouldn't complain so much because I do love getting nail polish in boxes and I really like this color. It's just weird that they would send two from the same collection two months in a row. I guess I'm stocked up on Color Club Wanderlust shades! :)
Finally we have the BirchBox Extra. This month's extra is ok. It's really cute, but I'm not sure how much use I'll get from it. It is a pair of Bobby Pins with a cute green print on them. They're a little thick and long for my taste, and I really don't use bobby pins that often. But they are cute and much preferred over their usual extras of coasters and magnets! :)
That was it for July's BirchBox. Not a great box, but I'm not hugely disappointed either. The lipstick and the nail polish, though it annoyed me, made the box worthwhile to me.
