Hank press conference not scheduled for February 24. A rumor is going around that I said that the Hank press conference would be on February 24. This is not correct. I said that it would be no earlier than February 24.
Movie to be shown at Alamo Drafthouse on February 24. Two other men in addition to Rick will be there. These two men will give most of the presentation. Much of it will involve a movie, a documentary about Hank which will be shown for the first time. The documentary was taken by people who were documenting the process whereby Hank was inspected and verified by various folks.The movie will run 30-60 minutes and will be about Hank and only Hank, but only after he was dead.
Many things will be cleared up by the February 24 Alamo Drafthouse presentation. One thing you will learn is you will find out for sure who Rick’s investors are.
Rick covering hands and feet of Hank. Rick is doing this so that there will be some new things to be seen for those at the Alamo Drafthouse. It’s a dumb idea, but Rick is full of dumb ideas.
Shooting Bigfoot to go on sale soon! An email to Minnow Films revealed that you will be able to buy the Shooting Bigfoot movie soon! For some reason, sales of the movie have not been allowed up until this time, possibly due to an agreement between Minnow and the attorneys involved with Hank. For a long time it was not certain if Minnow would even be allowed to show that film at all because the attorneys around Hank were keeping them from showing it for some reason.
Finally they were granted permission to show it but they may have been forced to cut some footage or only show certain footage and not other footage. It is most interesting that Shooting Bigfoot will go on sale soon and it implies that something major has changed in the status of Hank as Hank’s status was what was holding up film distribution.
Special Shooting Bigfoot showing on March 17! My source at Minnow Films has finally gotten back in touch with me after not talking to me for a long time because she thought I was shooting off my mouth too much. She told me in an email that there will be a special showing of Shooting Bigfoot in London in March 17 and even more importantly, that it may feature never before seen footage that was shot in the making of the movie. So we may finally be able to see some of that missing Shooting Bigfoot footage after all.
Complaints about Hank’s nose. Yes, Hank’s nose has collapsed, and yes, he has no nostrils anymore. However, lack of nostrils is typical in taxidermy. So Hank’s nose collapsed. So what?
Rick Dyer interview with KISS FM out of Texas. The haters are making much of this interview, however, in the interview, Rick says he will present the CT and MRI scans of Hank for the world to see. He will also unveil Hank’s skeleton. If he does these things, the haters will have a lot of explaining to do.
Hank’s age. Scientists have estimated that Hank is 70 years old! I had no idea a Bigfoot could live that long. I thought they only lived to be 40-45, but that was based on the idea that they are apes, which is wrong. Also his age relates to how his nose looks. A source reports:
Oh, and Hank is estimated to be at least 70 years old, so the nose (especially before the hack taxidermy) has the same characteristics as an elderly human- enlarged pores, thick veins close to the surface, rough texture, some scar tissue and thick cartilage buildup.
More on Hank’s nose. The haters are going nuts over Hank’s nose and saying it is an obvious fake. However, there are Homo Sapiens (like you and me) who have noses quite a bit like Hank’s nose.
Hank’s nose? Well, just today I was noticing that one of my co-workers, who is part African American and part Native American has very similar proportions of his nose to his face. No one thinks it is particularly odd, because with his faced clean-shaven, he has very broad cheekbones and jaw line, so it fits OK proportionately.
A few weeks ago he was showing me family pictures, some of them when he was a young adult with a full bodacious beard – looking like a dark-phase Hank. This guy is tall, too about 6’8″. Hank’s face looks weird because the preservation process did not fully keep the facial contours; the skin is dehydrated, dessicated, wrinkled and shrunken somewhat.
Reason for epoxy or resin use on hands and feet. The haters have gone crazy over this one, saying that the use of resin means it is an obvious prop. It is true that resin was used on this taxidermied specimen. However, the reason was because the hands and feet were becoming very brittle and they were afraid that the feet and hands were going to fall off or fall apart. Therefore all the comments about resin bubbles and whatnot are meaningless.

I do think he is keeping the hands and feet under wrap to have more to show at the Alamo – the feet look very striking with the black nails, black soles, etc.
Dyer tour a disaster. Well it is a fact that the tour is a catastrophe, but it is not all Rick’s fault, although he has shown a serious lack of professionalism on this tour to no one’s surprise. The haters have also bombarded all proposed venues with emails and phone calls telling them not to show Hank as it is nothing but a huge hoax. They have also threatened to call the advertisers of radio stations and tell them that the radio station is supporting a con man. At least one station canned the display due to fears of scaring off advertisers.
Dyer comes off like a con man in KISS interview. The interviewer said he has a degree in psychology and he can usually read people very well. I can do this too, but I sometimes call it “reading people’s minds.” The truth is I cannot read minds of course, but I can “read people” exactly like this psych grad can. The notion that I can supposedly read minds has caused some confusion with mental health folks in the past unfortunately. This man also said that try as he might, he could not read Rick in any way at all. He said that everything about Rick was completely phony, there was nothing to read and no way to read it anyway.
This is a fairly typical reaction of someone who is exposed to a sophisticated, charming sociopath – you cannot read them at all. A female friend of mine is psychic and can read people from a distance even via mind to mind stuff. She said he has been trying to get a reading on Dyer for a long time now and has not been able to get a reading off of him. Once again, the opacity of the sociopath. They are not exactly transparent people!
Dyer says no DNA until the end of the tour. This is his latest harebrained idea. However, I do not think that Rick controls when he can release this stuff. I think it is out of his hands. Why he thinks it is cool to delay the DNA release until after the tour, I have no idea. Rick stated that Hank is so much more cool if people do not know if he is real or not. Well that is a dumb thing to say. You get X people to see Hank is he’s not proven to be real yet, and you get 10-50X people to see Hank once you prove he’s real. But it’s so much more cool if the viewers are not sure about his validity. Right.
When will the tour end? No one knows. Rick says he is going to Japan and then returning to San Antonio. But when will this be? No one knows, but a source informed me that this is only the first leg of the tour, and there will be more than one tour.
Dyer changes press conference venue. Dyer has said that the press conference will be held in San Antonio, Texas at the end of the tour. This makes no sense for many reasons, especially as the person and museum due to present the tour are located in California.
The press conference should be in Los Angeles, California. Based on what I know about the people presenting the press conference, the investor and the museum where Hank will go after the tour, it only makes sense to have the press conference in Los Angeles. No where else really makes sense but whatever.
