The music is what makes the song, rather than the vocal or the lyrics, and this is not something that we'd normally write about, or be all that interested in. The introduction, prior to any vocal noises being imparted, seems to take a long time, though, if you look at it in a subjective way, it has a smooth rhythm that you can't help but enjoy. The rest of the song goes the same sort of way, although, the intriduction of something light with a voice is an absolute pleasure. We feel the likes of Katy B and possibly Eliza Doolittle come to mind when we hear the vocal and, this isn't amazingly dissimilar from the sorts of things that Disclosure has come up with once again.
It seems to be the era of dance music once again and, this time round, names like Disclosure are big on the scene. It's been a while since a huge female name has come to light in this genre and we'd be more than happy for Anna Lunoe to fill the void and start collaborating with some massive name ... we feel it'd be very well deserved.
Paul.
