Better with BRITA

By Mummyoftwo @RaspberryGiggle

Today sees the launch of BRITA's ' Better with BRITA ' campaign in association with Delicious magazine.

Better with BRITA

BRITA believe that you shouldn't compromise on taste when using water in recipes as a main ingredient. They are asking people to try out their products (which reduce the unwanted substances found in tap water that affect the flavour of ingredients) and make sure the food you create tastes just as it should!

Now I am cooking for two young children, I am always wanting to know exactly what goes into our food. Even though I cook from scratch the majority of the time you are never quite sure what additional 'ingredients' are going into your food. Through using filtered water in our cooking I would be able to ensure there are no extra, unwanted elements being added to our food.

BRITA's new campaign is searching for people who are creating amazing food and drink in their own homes using filtered water and quality local ingredients.

If you are a dab hand at making soda bread or your cupcake creations are sought after - this could be the perfect chance for you to show off your talents!

Once all votes are in, the top 10 entries will be given the chance to travel to London to make their produce for the Judges to taste. Three lucky winners will then attend The Big Festival for what promises to be the experience of a lifetime, being able to sell your creations and gain recognition!

You have plenty of time to take part as the closing date for entries is the 30th June with voting closing on 7th July.

If this sounds like something you would love to take part in but don't have a water filter, fear not! BRITA have offered one of my lucky readers the chance to win a BRITA Marella water filter jug (RRP £21). To be in with a chance of winning, simply fill in the competition entry form below. Good luck!
