Benefit Watt's Up review

Benefit Watt's Up

Now as a beauty blogger and mother to this little beauty blog I know you shouldn't have favourites but I have to admit that if I did, Benefit would be one of them! Although they are a little on the pricey side I am yet to be disappointed by any of  their makeup products that I have tried. One of my long standing favouirte Benefit products is Watt's Up. I purchased the Watt's Up highlighter absolutely ages ago and have been using it ever since, so I thought that it was time that I posted a review!
Benefit describe Watt's Up as a 'soft focus highlighter for the face' and anything that gives my face the illusion of soft focus is all good by me! Watt's Up is a cream to power, champagne toned highlighter that really is very flattering. It gives a shimmery and subtle sheen to the face without looking sparkly. (I'm sorry, but the Edward Cullen look in daylight just isn't for me.)

Benefit Watt's Up  sponge

One of the things that I love about Watt's Up is the packaging. It comes in a tube, which makes it really easy to apply to the cheeks. It also comes with a sponge applicator  for blending but I've never used this, in my experience it doesn't require too much blending. The formula is great, it applies smoothly and requires little blending. It has a cream to powder finish that is flattering and long wearing.

I first saw Watt's Up being applied at a Benefit event by a Benefit makeup artist. If I hadn't have been to this event I would probably have just used Watt's Up on my cheeks but I also wear it in the inside corner of the eye, on the cupid's bow of the lips, the middle of the nose and of course on the cheeks. Priced at £24.50 Watt's Up doesn't come cheap but it is versatile, flattering and easy to wear and I love it! Follow me on:
