So.. I was home. At my Momma’s house. I planned to have my very first book signing there, because I wanted it to be where i first felt so special. And that’s Rochester, N.Y.
And being home is kinda cool when you have a family reunion. And when you have BOOK SIGNING on of of that, its even MORE exciting! So I wrote this post right after I got home and reflected a bit:
“I am getting SO MUCH good news… I am beginning to be overwhelmed… whats one to do with all these blessings! #GivingGodALLthePraise They keep coming in... one of the best though, was spending time with fam…Being with my family this past week, revealed to me just how blessed I really am. I know everyone doesn’t have family, nor do they have family reunions, so please understand, if that is you, I am compassionate for you. I will pray for you and for your families, just let me know you’re out there…. I LOVE working with families and helping them better themselves, and God revealed to me this past week how blessed my family is to be COMMUNICATORS in all forms ~ social workers,teachers, entrepreneurs, coaches, human service providers, leaders on all fronts, and that we SERVE. What a complete honor. We will be sure to continue that legacy, and complete that legacy in various forms, as we are well aware it is a family value and strength. It’s not every week you get a chance to spend time with family from all around so I am appreciative more than words an express about all the love I received and the hope I gathered. I LOVE YOU fam! Keep your head up Cox family, and Make it GREAT!

My friends came from Syracuse as well as the city of Rochester! I felt so special! Its so cool when you have lived your Red Sea Situation out, and you find out that the peeps that were there with you in the trenches, and were some of those who came out and supported you and helped sustained you in the process!
