I don’t know if this is normal, but I already feel like my life is going too quickly. Just as I sighed and welcomed in a New Year with my dad spilling a pint, it’s already reached the second half of the year and speeding full pelt towards the beginning of a new.
As if it was yesterday I remember tottering around in pretend heel’s, casually lending my mum’s lipstick as though it was a regular occurrence and ignoring her giggles as I pursed my lips, writing secret notes to boy’s I fancied then never actually giving them to them and pretending I was Romy or Michele and blow-drying my hair like a grown up. But now it’s the opposite, I’m trying hard to cling onto my childhood and take advantage of the little amount of youth that’s still left. Someone is thieving my time.
To make the most of the year, I wrote a Year To-Do List, or a Resolution List if you like, but completely forgot about it. It happen’s every year and then on the 31st December I remember it and sigh that the year is about to repeat itself again. For some un-be-known reason I thought about this today and decided to type up what I can remember from that 1st January 2013 list and add some new ones to it, with the aim of completing all or most of them before Christmas 2013.
Each time I can tick one of these off, I will post about it on my blog, with some picture’s to prove it!
