Some more samples to talk about and yet again most of them are brilliant. No wonder my bank balance is painful to look at. The lovely Kat from Tales Of A Pale Face kindly gave me a sample of the REN Hydra Calm Cleansing Milk as she is often raving about it and I wanted to try it. This is a lot thicker than expected, the term milk is deceiving. I applied a small amount to dry skin and massaged it in, it actually soaked into the skin but I still took a damp flannel and removed any product that was left. This left the skin soft and clean and I think it is a great gentle cleanser. This little sample lasted me a week and I used it every morning, so I think a big tube would last you a long time. I am definitely considering buying the full size.
Some more samples I received from another lovely blogger, Grace from All That Slap. She offered to send me a sample of the Clarins Lotus Facial Oil as I tried to get a sample of it at a counter and couldn't. This is such a gorgeous oil and left my skin super soft and even after 3 days I noticed any blemishes I had and scarring were reduced. This is on the list to buy.
Also Grace was naughty and put some other samples in for me. The Aveda Smooth Infusion Shampoo and Conditioner was two of them and another product I have fallen in love with. This really did cleanse the hair as well as leaving it smooth and frizz free. Another item to put on the wish list.
I have been really getting into baths recently and have had two in a week. Considering I have only taken showers for about 4 years this is saying something, but there is something about Aromatherapy Associates oils that just make me want to run a hot bath and relax. So far I have used Relax Deep which has camomile and sandalwood in it which helps aid a restful nights sleep. I used this when I had a cold and it really helped to clear my airways and aid a good nights sleep. Shame it didn't cure the cold altogether though.
The other oil I used was De-Stress Muscle which contains rosemary, black pepper, lavender and ginger. I used this the day after Pro beauty when my body was really achy and again it helped relax all my muscles and made me feel more human.
I can't see myself with out Aromatherapy Associates oil now, they really do help and do what they say on the bottle. Plus they make your skin so soft that I don't have to use moisturiser after I have used them.
Lastly is the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation, I picked this sample up when I was in Birmingham for my birthday. This is a really lovely foundation that made my skin look flawless but unfortunately it didn't last on my skin and after a few hours started to go a bit patchy.
What samples have you been trying recently? Any you have completely fallen in love with?
