Bathsheba – Waves & Walk to Remember

By Annieuncanny

Bathsheba was my favorite spot in Barbados. The rocks are beautiful, the surroundings dramatic, the waves powerful, and the walk back to the bus was so satisfactory…

I don’t have a bad word to say about Bathsheba. I think this is one of the few places that will be even more beautiful if the weather is bad.

The reason we chose to walk back is

1) we would have to wait about one hour for the bus anyway
2) we decided to eat at the nearby restaurant
3) Thomas’ passion for walking in the heat & no sense of distance

All I will say about this mainly uphill walk is that is was long + PAINFUL. And also the restaurant was closed.

Finally @ the bus stop. The award is to climb on top of the rock and have a seat!

…but also a great picture. So the walk was worth it in the end.
