Ingredients:
4 ripened bananas
1 cup of flour
½ Cup sugar
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon baking yeast
1/3 cup water or as needed
Oil for frying
Optional: Sugar, vanilla, grated onion, egg
Direction:
Start by dissolving the yeast in a few drops of water and set aside.
Then in a bowl, mash the bananas, then add the sugar and the salt. Mix well.
Now incorporate the flour into the banana mixture, add the yeast dissolved then beat with your hands until the dough is smooth.
You can at this point add the vanilla for flavoring and also the grated onion.
Let it sit at least 30 minutes or 1 hour.
The last step is to heat up a good amount of oil over medium heat and use your hand or a spoon to drop the mixture into the oil (be extremely careful when you do this step).
Fry your fritters bananas until they become golden brown.
Serve hot with a drink and the pepper.
