BANANA FLAPJACK RECIPE
This post is inspired by all things banana so I apolagise in advance if they are not your cup of tea. The first inspirational piece was a song by George Elrick (1936) called "I Like Bananas Because They Have No Bones". It is a really cute song that I heard on Radio 2 whilst driving, and it really helped to brighten up my cold, dreary day. The second piece is an absolutely incredible smelling banana shampoo and conditioner set from The Body Shop that I came across. The Body Shop have some fantastic scented products and this one smells particularly good. It is so delicious that it has earned a place high up on my wish list. Finally, whilst at work last week a colleague brought in some homemade banana muffins which were extremely good. I was recommended a recipe for banana flapjacks so I decided to make my own. They turned out great so I thought I would share the recipe with you.  Ingredients- 1/2 a cup of butter- 2 tbsp of sugar- golden syrup- 1 banana (mashed)- 2 cups of rolled oats Method1. First you will need to heat the butter, sugar and syrup together in a pan over medium heat2. Then add your oats and mashed banana3. Empty into a roasting tin covered in foil4. Heat in the oven at 200 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown5. Cut the flapjack into squares and leave to coolBANANA FLAPJACK RECIPE
