I made a resolution to myself a while back, around the time summer started, to stop buying black clothes. I swore that when walking through a store/shopping online, that I would dodge all things black.
That lasted about 2 weeks, maybeeee a month- tops.
I can’t help myself, I’m addicted to black. If you could only see my closet… you’d think I was gothic.
It’s just that wearing color is always a hit or miss. A few shades off, and that teal blouse could be washing you out without your knowledge. Not a good look, esp when that overly bright top is drawing attention in your direction. I’ll pass thank you very much.
I am all about sticking to the neutrals (mainly black). It makes getting dressed so much more simple, plus you will always look chic and put together. IMO.
