One such disease is Erythema dischromicum perstans in which skin rashes develop within minutes of exposure (to an allergen or other causes) and can last up to a few weeks. Erythema dischromicum perstans can occur at any age but young adults are more prone to suffer from this disease. According to research women are more affected by this disease than men. Also, dark-skinned people are more affected than light skin people. There are many allergic causes for this disease with different symptoms that will be discussed in this article. Introduction
Erythema dischromicum perstans also known as Ashy dermatosis or dermatosis is a skin pigmentation disorder in which skin eruptions of polycyclic, or irregularly shaped hyperpigmentation in blue or black color appears.
