Types of Arthritis

1. Inflammatory arthritis: Inflammation is nothing but the healing process of our body. It acts as a defense against bacteria’s and viruses or inflammation is the response to injuries such as burns. But for the arthritis patients, inflammation occurs with no apparent reason. Inflammatory arthritis will affect several joints of the patient, and the inflammation will damage the surface of the joints and also the underlying bone.
2. Degenerative arthritis: It is also called as mechanical arthritis. The main work of the smooth, slippery cartilage is to is to help the joints glide and move smoothly. They play a very important role in the movement of our body by covering the end of bones. Primarily degenerative arthritis damages the cartilage and makes it thinner and rougher.

Metabolic arthritis: The uric acid concentration in our body depends on the capability of our body in balancing between the purine synthesis (the production of uric acids) and the capability of kidney and intestine to filter and eliminate them. Some people have high levels of uric acid because either naturally, their body produces more uric acid than their body needed or their body cannot clear the uric acid quickly enough.
