Autumn/Winter Nail Favourites
Autumn/Winter Nail FavouritesJust one coat applied.
Autumn and winter is my favorite time for beauty, I love the colours that come out and the cold dark nights just make you want to stay in and give yourself a pamper.
I thought I would share with you some of my nail favourites for this time of year and I will admit that some of the shades are very similar. (guilty face)
(Starting from left to right on the color wheel)
Maybelline Super Stay Gel Nail Colour in Midnight Red - This is the perfect deep red shade and the formula of these Maybelline polishes are the best. They have a thick brush for easy application and last a week without chipping. One of my top favourites.
Essie Nail Lacquer in Wicked - This is very similar to the Maybelline one but with a slightly more purple undertone than red. Essie is one of my favorite brands of nail polish and this a fab autumn shade.

Sleek Loves Nails Nail Lacquer in Vinto Tinto - I know I have spoken about this more than once before and it was my go to shade last year. This is more of a sheer deep red but can be built up. The formula is great, I really must try more sleek polishes.
Barry M Matte Nail Paint in Crush - Sometimes it is nice to go for a matte shade on the nails for something a bit different and the Barry M Matte polishes are great and affordable. This is a deep wine shade thats opaque in one swipe, the only down side is I do find it chips quite easily.
Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint in Blood Orange - Another Barry M polish but in the Hi Shine formula. This is true classic red that you can't go wrong with. Like all Barry M it is easy to apply and is super glossy.
Ciate Nail Polish in Boudoir - Another firm favourite, I got this polish in the Ciate Advent calender last Christmas and this has been my favorite one out all 25 I got. Applies like a dream and doesn't chip for days. Another gorgeous classic red everyone should own.
Rimmel Salon Pro Polish in Rhythm & Blues - Finally stepping away from the reds this is a gorgeous navy polish. It is quite sheer with one coat but add a second or third and you are left with a true deep navy shade. Rimmel polishes are fab and their pro polishes have great staying power.
Essie Nail Lacquer in Chinchilly - Lastly another Essie polish and this is a purple/greige type color. Great for if you want a more neutral look
Do let me know what your favorite polishes are for autumn/winter?
