There are many women out there who want to enhance the way their breasts look but are wary about using saline or silicone implants. The idea of the presence of a foreign material inside the body deters many women from taking up augmentation despite wanting to change the way their breasts look. Now, there is a brand new way of amping up your breasts without the use of manufactured implants and that is the auto augmentation breast lift surgery. We tell you here all about it.

Auto Augmentation Breast Lift Surgery

Auto Augmentation Breast Lift Surgery Guide

The surgery does not use any synthetic material for implant but makes use of tissue from your own breasts to change the shape and the size of your breasts. It is done in two steps. In the first, excess tissue from your breasts that causes sagging of the breasts is removed. This is followed by the second step wherein this tissue is implanted into the region where more volume is desired. This way, your own breast tissue is removed from where it is not wanted and used effectively in the region where you want volume. Lets take a look at the surgery in detail.

Are you a candidate for Auto Augmentation breast lift?

If you have adequate volume in your breasts and want to correct some sagging and add more volume to the upper part of your breasts, then this is the best surgery for you. It is a 2-in-1 remedy wherein the sagging is corrected and the volume is also increased.  However, if your breasts are almost flat, then there is not much chance of grafting tissue from them for augmenting the breasts.

Also, if you are looking for a significant change in the shape and size of your breasts, then you had better go in for implants since a major change in the size is not possible to achieve without deflating your breasts from the bottom.

Auto Augmentation Surgery Procedure and Cost

The procedure is performed under general anesthesia. An incision is made around the areola and then from the areola to the breast crease. From the lower part of the breast that is exposed through this incision, excess tissue is detached and moved to the upper part of the breast. This causes an increase in the volume above the nipples. With the reduction in the volume below the nipples, the sagging is taken care of.

The surgeon then re-positions the nipple to a higher position. He then removes excess skin from the lower part of the breasts from where the tissue was removed. All the incisions are sutured after which you will have breasts that are firm and well toned.bout

The procedure costs around $4000 to $6000, including the surgeon’s fee, anesthesia and facility costs.

 After Surgery Care

The sutures after the auto augmentation breast lift surgery need to be treated with care. You will be given compression garments which will hold them in place. Your physical activity will be limited and you could even experience some numbness and swelling for a couple of days. You would have to follow your surgeon’s instructions about post surgery care and wait for a couple of weeks before you can take off the compression garment and start wearing a bra.

Risks Involved

Your surgeon will discuss the risks involved in the surgery which may include infection, scarring, numbness or asymmetry. Choosing a reputed plastic surgeon will help you minimize the risks and have a successful surgery.
