I don’t know what it is about Vintage and Retro clothes and why we love them so much, but the power of timeless fashion’s is iconic enough to come full circle round to today. Whether life was sweeter, neater, prettier or easier back then; I don’t know, but something about the flashback fashion is enchanting. In particular for me, the 40′s and 50′s – who knew the humble housewife was such a fashion and sex symbol? With minute waist’s and ‘baby making hips’ they oozed feminism.
For circle skirts and swing & pencil dresses, ASOS has always been my go-to, there is always something on there that would look neat with a petticoat, whilst injecting a modern twist.
