For the first time ever, we recently checked out Marina Bay Sands’ Art Science Museum, which we usually see as the ginormous lotus-like flower floating conspicuously on Singapore’s iconic Marina Bay. It’s a permanent attraction that “showcases the power of creativity as it is manifested in the world of ArtScience” through three spaces: Curiosity, Inspiration, and Expression. DREAMWORKS ANIMATION: THE EXHIBITION

DreamWorks has continuously come up with blockbuster features, including Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, and Madagascar. At DreamWorks Animation: The Exhibition, visitors are given a rare, insightful look into the company’s collaborative and visionary approach to animation, as well as the processes behind the magic they produce for the silver screen.
Exhibits are divided into three galleries: Character, Story, and World. Each allow fans and aspiring filmmakers to uncover secrets on how Dreamworks’ animated films are brought to life. What’s more is that the Drawing Room allows everyone to create a short movie.
THE DEEP

It is said that there have been more men who’ve walked the moon than explored the deepest portions of our oceans—after all, special equipment are needed to go into depths underwater. The Deep, however, gives a glimpse what marine life is like 4,000 meters below.
Whereas aquariums showcase colorful schools of fish and friendly sea critters, The Deep, which is set in almost total darkness, displays 40 mysteriously incredible deep sea creatures that are shown in Southeast Asia for the first time. These are complemented by 67 stunning images of deep sea fauna and bioluminescent creatures, of which some were photographed for the first time.
SINGAPORE STORIES: THEN, NOW, TOMORROW

Singapore Stories: Then, Now, Tomorrow chronicles the origin, adversity, failure, and triumph of the city-state through the 170-year-old archives of The Straits Times. The leading publication opened its trove of articles, headlines, and photos, including never-before-seen ones, to unfold the history of Singapore, as well as to contemplate its present and future from a fresh perspective.
How to get there: Marina Bay Sands can be accessed through the Bayfront MRT station and select bus services. ArtScience Museum is located on the waterfront, within walking distance from The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands and the Helix Bridge. The museum lobby is on the ground level.
