‘Good Housekeeping’ playing in the 1950s
A recent trip to Skipton (UK – North) lead to me the Craven Museum and an exhibition of paintings by Roo Waterhouse. The paintings depicted toys through each of the decades from the 1930s – 1980s.
Alongside the paintings were a collection of the toys, some of which I have not seen for years but recalled from my own childhood. Also I’m a huge fan of classic toys (a big kid) so this was amazing to see.

‘Teeny Bopper’ playing in the 1970s
‘Personal Space’ playing in the 1980s
