I don’t think that I have ever seen a place that is idyllic and stately at the same time. Idyllic, because Schwerin is surrounded by lakes. Stately, because the town takes you back to the grandeur of a couple of centuries ago. As soon as we arrived there, it simply took my breath away.
We parked our car near the State Art Museum and went for a walk. These were our first impressions:
