Aries Rising – January 2013
In this month the main energy of the Sun and Mercury will be focused in the 10th house, the sector or your chart associated with work and career and here is where a lot of your energies will be invested. You will be very interested in talking about where you can improve your role at work and finding out how you can improve your career prospects. Mercury rules paperwork and details so you may find that you will have a lot of these things to deal with in your everyday work. Early in the month you may have some bright and creative ideas that will impress people you work with, as Mercury connects with Neptune, Uranus and Pluto. The other big factor in determining your month is always Mars and he is passing through Aquarius covering your 11th house of friends and teamwork all month. This is a time when friends and groups will be most important to you in the pursuit of your goals, hopes and dreams. Teamwork and cooperation is now highlighted, although your instinct as ever will be to want to take the lead in these activities. Your main pitfall could be trying to be a little domineering, aggressive or you may feel that you want to do your own thing, and in the process you may upset your friends or senior people you work with.
Venus moves into affect the work angle of your chart in mid month, and maybe then any disagreements can be smoothed over except perhaps in and around the 15th-17th when passions and tensions in all types of relationships, professional and personal may rise considerably. This is because Venus collides into the Uranus Pluto square. Towards the end of the month between the 23rd and 27th at the time of the full Moon in Leo, you might be willing to take a risk or two in expanding your life, but you may be frustrated through lack of finance, or because someone is holding you back. This new Moon is a very creative one for you and you may be able to get some artistic ventures or projects started now. Love affairs may begin too under this new Moon, perhaps with someone much older than you are.
