Arbonne Make Up Primer

By Brightowngirl @Brightowngirl
Arbonne Make Up PrimerI was first introduced to the brand Arbonne a few months ago where I attended a presentation about the brand. Arbonne has been running for over 30 years but has only been available in the UK for about 5 years.
Arbonne products are free from harmful ingredients, using a combination of botanical principles and scientific discovery. They do not test on animals and do not contain Benzene, Mineral oil, Petrolatum, Phthalates or Toluene.
I thought I would share a bit from the site to explain about the company.
The vision to provide skin care products unparalleled in quality and effectiveness developed in Switzerland in 1975, when one man, Petter Mørck, together with a group of leading bio-chemists, biologists and herbalists, fulfilled his vision and founded Arbonne.
Arbonne's skin care products, based on botanical principles, became a reality in the United States in 1980 and are now shared throughout the world through Arbonne's network of Independent Consultants. Building on these same founding principles, Arbonne's product line naturally enhances your beauty and well-being with phenomenal products.

The wonderful thing about Arbonne is that it's not just about great products, it's also about great people. The Arbonne family is made up of more than a million individuals who are working to make their dreams come true. Through sales incentives and rewards, travel opportunities, a generous Success Plan and great products, Arbonne offers a unique opportunity that can help make anyone's vision for the future a reality.
There is three ways to shop with Arbonne, just as client where you can purchase straight from the website. Or as a preferred client or an Independent consultant which is where you pay a yearly small fee and get discounts and benefits. It explains it all here on the website and does a better job than I do. My friend Lizzie is a Independent Consultant and offered to send me the Make Up Primer to review on here and let you guys know about the brand.
This is a silicone based primer that helps to diminish the look of pores and fine lines. It contains hyaluronic filling spheres, horsetail extract, green tea leaf extract and grapeseed extract. This has that usual silicone base feel to it and when applied to the skin leaves it really soft and smooth. It instantly makes your pores look smaller which is always a bonus. I have tried this out with a couple of foundations and they all seemed to have lasted longer than if I had used them on there own. Also that lovely shine that appears on my nose has been staying away a little longer. I was really impressed with this as I was a little cautious about using a silicone based primer but my skin didn't react to it at all. It just made my skin look really smooth and my foundation stay in place longer. If you like primers that are similar to Benefit Porefessional or Clarins Instant Smooth Primer, chances are you will like this.
This is £25 from Lizzie's Arbonne site here
Have you tried anything from Arbonne? I would love to know your thoughts on the brand.
*I was given this product for review purposes, all opinions are my own and are honest. Lizzie does get commission if you buy from her site. More info is on the site or email me with any questions.
