Last year, out of a group of 14 Middle Eastern populations*, only Jordanians supported US aid to the Syrian rebels. This year, not one Arab population supports US aid to the Syrian rebels, and the only group in the Middle East who supports US aid to topple the Syrian government is Israeli Jews. Hmmmmmm…Who exactly is this aid to the Syrian rebels intended to benefit in the Middle East anyway? Hmmmmm.
How about Arab aid to the Syrian rebels? Last year, in the Arab World, only the Jordanians and the Sunnis of Lebanon supported Arab aid to the rebels. This year, the Jordanians no longer support Arab aid to the anti-Assad rebels, leaving only the Sunnis and Christians of Lebanon to support such aid. Of course, the Jews of Israel support Arab aid to topple Assad.
The populations surveyed were Jordan, Tunisia, Egypt, Turkey, Palestine, West Bank, Gaza, Lebanon, Lebanese Sunnis, Lebanese Christians, Lebanese Shia, Israel, Israeli Arabs and Israeli Jews.
Out of 14 groups surveyed, 13 oppose US aid to the Syrian rebels and only 1 group supports it.
Out of the same 14 groups, 11 oppose Arab aid to the Syrian rebels and 3 support it.
The US Deep State sold support for the Syrian rebels on the grounds that it would increase support for the US in the Arab World and get them back on our side. It’s not working out that way.
It is looking like the Arabs do not want the US interfering at all in Arab conflicts.
